Five ways to Register

1. ON LINE:  Go to www.york.cuny.edu/conted  and follow the simple step-by-step instructions. You get a discount on the registration fee if you register on line!!!

 

2. TELEPHONE: Please call 718-262-2794 to register by telephone. We accept MasterCard / Visa/American Express

 

3. FAX: A completed registration form (including your credit card number and expiration date) may be faxed to 718-262-2570.

 

4. MAIL: Mailed registrations should be postmarked no later than January 20, 2007 to get the Early Bird Registration Fee of $10.00, after January 20th  the registration fee will be $20.00. All parts of the registration form must be completed and returned with a check or money order payable to York College. For MasterCard or Visa include card number, the last three numbers on the back of the card and expiration date. Be sure to include the course fee along with the registration fee. If a check is returned for any reason, there will be a $25.00 charge.

 

5. IN PERSON: Adult Continuing Education, 94-20 Guy R. Brewer Blvd, Room 2F01B Jamaica, NY 11451 (Monday – Thursday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM Friday, 9:30 – 4:30 PM Saturday, 9:00 – 1:30 pm.

Things You Should Know

Refunds. All applications for refunds must be made in writing and accompanied by your admission slip. Refund request by telephone are not accepted. Refunds are calculated from the date we receive your written request. One week before the first class meeting, the refund is: 100% of tution; before the second class meeting: 75% of tuition. There are no refunds on one-or-two day courses once they have begun. Nonattendance of class(es) does not exclude the student from the rules of this policy. Thereafter, no refunds will be granted for any reason.  Refunds ae handled in the manner that payment was accepted. If you paid by check, money order or cash your tuition refund will be refunded by check only.  If your paid by credit card, your refund will be credited back to the card that you used at the time of registration.  Automatic refunds are given only if we cancel a class. We reserve the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, instructors when necessary. Please no tape recording during classes without prior permission from the instructor. We are pleased to welcome and admit students 18 years of age and over of any race, color, religion, or national and ethnic origin to all classes. Students under 18 will be permitted only with prior consent of the instructor and staff. This policy applies only to courses up to $400. Programs that cost more than $400 have their own refund/withdrawal policies. Check with our office: 718-262-2791. 

Textbooks. Textbooks required for all courses may be purchased from the York College Bookstore. (No Personal Checks Accepted). Please call (718) 262-2882 to confirm the bookstore’s hours.When purchasing books from vendors other than the York College bookstore, please call (718) 262-2791 to obtain the title, edition, author and ISBN number.

Parking.  Parking facilities are available for registered Adult Continuing Education students. All applicable fees and a registration slip must be presented to the Security Office with a memorandum from the Division. Parking facilities are limited and availability cannot be guaranteed.
